This means you are more “in touch” with the every day Joe – they report the little things many people don’t hear about. <br /> <br />A prime example is <A HREF=http://www.newsday.com/news/nationworld/world/wire/sns-ap-piranha-attack,0,1569937.story?coll=sns-ap-world-headlines>this</A> story. Sure, the kid wasn’t badly hurt (3 stitches after a piranha in a fountain bit him) but the <I>human element</I> behind this story can’t be beat. This kid survived a real trial (how many among us can say they were bitten by a piranha?) and it’s good to see that kind of thing reported– even if it’s not by every major news source. <br /> <br />Keep up the journalistic integrity! Unfortunately common people aren't usually a part of this process. Today I, Simon Simpson, am giving you that oppertunity! I recently discovered this site and am thinking of writing up a story on it. What you get to do is give me your comments on the site and how you feel it affects you as a person and democracy as a whole.
